The Pakistan Observer stands as one of the oldest and most widely read English-language daily newspapers in Pakistan. It is published in six cities: Islamabad, Karachi, Lahore, Quetta, Peshawar, and Muzaffarabad. Founded on November 1, 1988, by the esteemed journalist Zahid Malik, it marked a significant milestone as the first newspaper to be published in the capital city.

Under the leadership of Faisal Zahid Malik, the current Editor-in-Chief, the newspaper continues to uphold a commitment to quality journalism. The head office is located in Islamabad, complemented by four additional offices in key cities: Karachi, Lahore, Peshawar, and Muzaffarabad.

Notably, Abdus Sattar, a former Foreign Minister of Pakistan, serves as the lead current affairs analyst for The Pakistan Observer. His expertise primarily revolves around international security, contributing depth and insight to the newspaper’s coverage of critical issues.
